use a shop-vac and go over them to get all the dust out!

 

Try Tim Hortons Coffee grinds ... it great for removing any nasty smell. Simply open the pouch of coffee and leave it in your car for about a day or two ... and you'll notice the difference.

 

While reading this thread I was gonna suggest this... well, a variation of this. Take a cup of Timmy's coffee and leave it in your car overnight. Your car'll smell like coffee for a bit, but it also gets rid of any stinky smells in your car.

 

Holy smokes I don't think this would work for me, the way I drive I'd end up with coffee grounds all over the inside of the car... and me.

 

When it comes to cleaning my car, I"m glad I have a 2seater.

Here's what I suggest:
Vacuum(I have a shop vac at home, i think... reagardless its strong) then try a carpet cleaner(I picked some up at Canadian Tire for like $10) Then Vacuum again.
Problem solved. Makes the car smell and look nice and clean.
With the exception of 1 stain(that I cant get rid of, previous owner smoked) my car looks like it just rolled off the dealer lot.
Well and the gap in my boot...

Anyways, for those of you that smoke, thats not helping your cause either.

When I put the car away in the wintertime, I like to open a box of baking soda to absorb any moisture and foul odors in the cabin. It's the moisture that promotes the growth of fungus.

Tip: Put a plastic back under the box, so it doesn't make a mess on your carpet or seats. Also makes picking it up a sinch.

In the spring, I just spray on a bit of dry vac stuff, and give it a good vacuum. Usually does the trick!

If all else fails, use Frebreeze. I generally don't like spraying any type of fluid content on my seats, for the sake of accidently dying the colour, or fading.

In the summer, a nice air-freshener always takes care of business.
