Ground Wire Issues? Dvd Problems In Car
Here's my setup:
1) Panasonic head unit (cd/mp3) hooked up to amp and subs
2) ****ty brand dvd unit (feeding audio to panasonic)
3) TV hooked up to ****ty dvd unit.
All three are grounded via the factory ground wire in the harness. The TV and DVD get their power from the deck.
When the car is off, the DVD works perfectly.
However, when the car is on (idling or in gear), there are thin horizontal lines (not too bad), but frequent screen flickers (video only...audio is still fine).
What is causing this? Alternator? Better Ground? How should I re-wire this?
Any help is appreciated...thanks.
