GSR Leathers: Direct Bolt-On, On To An EK?

Hey,

I'm looking at Gallagher's GSR leather seats and I was wondering if the swap is a direct bolt on, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,
Fred

Check thees links out. The front seats will bolt in if you swap the rails or just use 3 of the 4 mounting bolt holes. The rear seats don't look like they fit very well.

He put it in neutral and pushed it down a steep hill

Anyways , I put GSR fronts in my civic , just used 3 outta the 4 bolt holes. You'll notice no movement while driving only if some knucklehead sitting behind you decides to start pushing ur seats.

vato_loco i have full gsr front & rear leather seats in my car ... the front seats do bolt in BUT you will have to change one rail for each seat ... you have to use the original civic seat belt rail and switch it over to the integra seat ...

Think about this... You get in an accident and your passenger goes throught the windshield because the seats weren't bolted down correctly. The cops figure this out and charge you manslaughter or careless causing death. You go to jail and probably get suied(sp) by the person's family. Not worth it for a comfy set of seats.

yep to swap the inner seat rail is noooo problem ...
no real excuse for not doin it, in order to have your seat in safely there must be a ll 4 bolts ...

Vato loco , the seats are well worth it !
the bolsters are way better than stock
with out getting into a racing seat, GS-R seats are pretty much the best IMO

***Not trying to ruin Gallagher's Sale here***

But why don't you just find some EL Leathers?

You can always drill new holes to have all four bolts. Very easy.

Josh and showcivic,
I am thinking of do this gsr swap as welll.
In addition of swaping over the civic seat belt side rail and rail support, don't you have to swap the other rail as well since there is a height difference between the civic and gsr rail
On to the right side rail. At left is a photo showing the Type R (top) and SiR (bottom) right side rails back to back. They are virtually identical except for one crucial element - the red arrows point to where the SiR rail is taller than the Type R rail. If you do not swap these rails, the Type R seat will sit uneven from left to right because of this difference in height.
Or does this only apply to ITR seats and not the GSR.

Thanks.

I only used the seatbelt side of the rails from stock seats onto my GSR leathers. With the driver side, you only have to fix the cable that allows the seat to move forward and backwards. It's just a 2min job, all you got to do is extend the cable and then bend it. You'll understand once you have seat right in front of you. Just let me know if you have anymore questions.
