I got a 92 HB I want to make new seat covers myself. Has anyone tried this before? Do the stock covers come off?

My dad did it once for fun... it turned out real well and fit like stock. Covers came off no problem, cut them out and copy exactly, not hard, but time consuming.

I was thinking of doing this myself, take off the old seat skins, unstitch them, use them as templates to cut out the new material then re stich the new ones and slide em back on. That's my theory, I eventually try it one day.

Yeah I wanna do the same thing, but i don't have the *****, cause if yu **** up your stuck with these foam seats
