I've had my Sony deck (CDX M600) for two years and just the other day it stopped loading cds. It would take the cd in but then it would make this nasty grinding/scraping noise and spit the cd back out. I'm guessing there's no easy way to fix this but is there anything I can do/try? I tried using different cds but same problem for all of them. Are there audio shops that will repair this type of thing?

Yeh i was thinking the same thing. I doubt it's worth repairing this damn thing. Oh well, no more sony decks for me!

I dont know if any discs were forced in. I think my g/f messed it up, she was waiting in the car for me and then when i got back she says the cds dont work anymore. Women!

do you mean cleaning it with those cd lens cleaners? is it easy to take apart?
