Hi,
I would suggest getting a pro to do it. It is not a matter of removing the tint it is the glue and the defroster lines that you have to worry about.
If you do it yourslef ANY glue that is leftover will show on the new tint
Thanks

there are two ways to do this.
easy way - wait for a hot day in the summer and spray the inside of your windows with ammonia (cover interior panels so as not to overspray). leave it for like an hour or something, then the tints will just peel right off, then use regular soap to clean the rest of the glue off.
the other option is using a razor blade, just catch the corner of the tints and pull it off.... this way it'll be a pain in the *** to do, and you gotta watch the defroster lines.... also, use soap and water for the glue. I've heard of ppl using #000 steel wool to help with removing the glue, but I wouldn't do that. at most, like one of those lil scrub pads for delicate dishes...

A heat gun helps alot once you get it peeled a little... but then you have to deal with the excess glue stuck on the glass... possibly goo gone will take the excess out... even if you damage a defroster line, there's repair kits at canadian tire...

use varsol/acrysol/all sol/ and spray on glue n use razor blade to take it off. don't let the ...sol sit on any panels, just windows. if it gets on the panel then its going to leave a mark. n for the rear window u'll have to be very careful in between the defrost lines. use all scurbber with the ...sols.
but its better to just take it where ur goin to get it tinted, tat way if theres ne probs they'll know what to do.
