Indoor Sound System

Just wondering if its possible to hook a car amplifier up indoors? The reason is b/c im going away to school, and will have no use for the amp i bought while im away. Just curious if anyone has attempted to do this. I know i can hook up my subs to a hifi system but i dont wanna shell out the cash...

thanks for any insight

if you can find a high-amp power supply you could probably get away with it..

Look on hobbie sites or electronics sites. I remember back awhile someone posted a link and they had like 80 amp power supplies for cheap.

Check out clubsi Audio/Video section i think the guys in there know the site.
