Interior customizing.... can anyone give me advice?
Hey
Im looking to do a color theme in my coupe. I want the entire interior to be white with blue accents... seats, dash, ceiling, everything. Can anyone give me advice on how to go about doing this so that i dont get an ugly *** look to it? i want to do it all myself(except for the seats ofcourse)
so any ideas you have please shoot over my way.
thanks alot

take out ur interior and start degreasing it. Then use a good vinyl dye for any vinyl parts in the car. For the plastics spray some non-metal CT primer, then any color paint and then clear coat, take your time. For the carpet u can replace it or try and dye it. The ceiling would be tricky but u have to remove it and choose a material that can stretch nicely and just replace the hold material with the new stuff.

is the main dash piece vinyl? if so go to www.g2usa.com and order some vinyl dye and dye the sucker. I would suggest either taking out most of ur interior and taping EVERYTHING off or taking out the actual dash.

Can I suggest actually taking your dash out? It takes quite a while (at least an hour) unless you know what your doing of course :P
Reason is I painted the dash in my old car, without taking it out and sooo many things went wrong.
First of all it took me so long to tape newspaper on to everything like the wheel, windows, windshield, ect...
Second of all, I realized that paint can find it's way through newspaper and I got paint all of my windshield and ****, it was pretty ugly.
Anyways, if you got time to do it I would definately suggest just taking out the dash. If your only going to do it once, I would suggest just doing it right the first time!
