Interior Neon Glow

Well, today I bought interior neon glow for my 2000 Civic Si. I didn't do much research on them (what else is new) but i'm havin trouble. k, I wanna mount them under the dash, but they don't seem to stick to the interior using the suction cups provided.

How do I get them to stay in there?

I know, stupid question, but i'm not the smartest kid in town either. Pictures would be great, but general how to's would be awesome.
thx

double sided carpet tape!

that stuff kept my department together when i worked at lansing....... hehe

its sticky as hell..... and if moisture is a problem, get outdoor carpet tape...... it should keep the neons up there

maybe those lil velcro strips?

zip ties work best, i find not much will stay stuck to your interior vinyl for long.... even industrial strength velcro comes off on hot days.... zip ties all the way baby!

Oh, right, I know what they are now.

But how do they stick to the interior of the car?

well where are you placing your neons? I zip tied my neons under my dash to some of the metal cars and other things under there.

Yeh, i'm puttin them under my dash aswell, where your feet go.
So I can just tie them to some metal lines? How many ties should I use per neon? I'm just tryin to picture this in my mind, and I'm seeing them just slide around and knocking around under the dash. I guess I should just try it.

Also, is there any other way to having the neons on without plugging them into the cigarette lighter?

I dont know what kind of neons you have, but mine have little holes in the end where you can screw them into a surface or like i did with the wire ties and they dont move at all.

You can hard wire them. Cut off the cigerette lighter end, and install a switch and wire them up that way.

Is it hard to do?

I know absolutely nothing about cars, nor do I know anything about wiring. Would it be a pain in the ***, or is it possible for me to do?

Anyone know websites that show you how to install them?
