Kenwood Mono Amplifier (KAC-8102D)

hey has anyone used the kenwood model # kac-8102 mono amp or the Kenwood 2-Channel Car Amplifier (KAC-7202) I try the 7202 with 2 12" Dub sub from best buy and found the the amp was pulling to much heat...can anyone tell me the best way to go as amp and subs or concern...I also want to put in the front doors a pair of alpine sps-170a coaxial 2 way speakers and in the rear sps-690a coaxial 3 way speakers ...is component better than coaxial? what's the best way to go as for alpines...

Because they are dual 4 ohm you wanna get a 2 channel amp like the rockford 3002 or the rockford 8002 both available at best buy as well

just because they are DVC does not mean you need a 2ch amp

if anything you dont want a 2ch amp if your thinking of running each coil on each channel and run it stereo
