Looking for a mono amp for a sub I'm thinking of getting

the sub I'm most likely going to get is the 15A.22

Scarlemthug has told me that I need a 1000x1 @1ohm or 1000x1 @4ohm amp

just need some suggestions.. so far RF 1050s, 1051s have been looked at (just to match my RF 500x amp)

I was HOPING to spend only $500, but I know for what I'm asking it's hard.... help plz

 

get the Resonant Engineering amp its $500 cdn i think and does 1200-1500 watt rms.

Matt, I thought the RE amp was on backorder for a long time? If not that would be a good option ed, I will look around for another amp to power the sub. Do you have any preferences for looks and stuff?

lol.. dunno if I'm biased that way, and that's why I really want to get the 15A's.. or from all the great things you've told me about em being a kick *** SQ sub... we'll have to wait and see I guess...

 

Yeah man......15A or IDMAX ed.......you will be happy with either im pretty sure

 

I'm not too worried about the SUB.. like we were talking about.. IDMAX, eD, or even ARC ... it's the damn AMP that's blowing my budget I think...
