my stereo cut out on me

my stereo cut out on me
i was driving and decided to turn up my stereo and it just cut out on me
i checked the fuses in the fuse box aswell as the head unit fuse and both were good i then tried putting another deck in and still no luick i also tried running wires directly from my battery ans still no lick i think its my 12v ignition wire
can anyone help me?
