NEED HELP: How to take out stock Radio
Hi to everyone on the board..Just wondering if anyone can help me out..I have a 2000 Honda Civic Sedan with a Honda OEM AM/FM radio..I have a 2000 Honda Prelude OEM CD deck that I would like to put into the Civic..Can anyone help me with information on how to take out the deck inside my Civic..All help would be greatly appreciated..THANKS

From Honda-Tech...
"remove the bottom harness where the power socket is at. when you do this your gonna see two little bolts that hold the whole consol in.
remove em.
slide out the console
remove the climate control and fan button, its a two wire harness to the climate control and one to the blinkers.
once you got them out the whole thing slides out.
there are 5 black screws on the control side. remove them.
there are 4 phillips head screws two on each side. remove them.
carefully slide it out. dont damage the tray.
the tray has two screws on each side that connect it to the radio."
