I just bought an Audiobahn package which came with two 12" and a box w/plexi glass and a neon light in it. Me and my cousin hooked up the sound system (which sounds amazing by the way) but we were not sure where and how to wire the neon light. The guy at the audio store told us if we wanted to hook up the neon we had to use a relay. Our idea was too wire it to the trunk light that way the neon would only go on when the trunk was open. Any ideas on how and which way I should wire the neon? Do I have to use the relay or can I just wire it through the trunk light?

yep use a relay.... But you will need to use the trunk light as the trigger for the relay to turn on the neon. the trunk light won't have enough juice to power the neon.... adn that's where the relay comes into play.
