painting interior plastic trim

Has anyone ever done it? Got a light beige colour going on and I'm looking to get all the interior trim ( headliner most likely dyed ) painted. Any help would be great

I painted my door panels black from brown. I picked up some SEM vynil paint and just washed the panels with soap and water. Then sprayed the panels with 4-5 light coats. Its been 6 or more months now, and they are holding up good. Don't spray plastic pieces with that paint. Also there is some paint that is specially made for that but it costs around 25$ /can I think. My buddy did that and he sprayed absolutely every pieces and its holding perfect.

I did my brother's truck with this stuff called Krylon H2O. I got it from candian tire and its designed for bonding to plastic. I was quite impressed with how it came out. I believe he had that truck for about 2 years with the recoloured interior and i dont think it flaked on him. Just make sure you are using the right type of paint/dye on the right panels. Also, do the normal surface prep wrk... its on the can.
