Ppi Pro12 Sub Q?

Hi,

I'm planning on buying two PPO Pro12 subs in 8 ohms. My plan is to run them in parallel to use with my PPI A600.2 (600watts rms into 4 ohms)

I don't have any experience with subs at all. I guess I'm still new into car audio.

How are these subs? What else are they comparable to ?

PPI makes excellent quality subs, the thing to remember though is they are more of an SQ oriented woofer, they arent really designed to pound especially not the 8ohm models. They will however give you decent output and nice tight deep bass.

They're very sweet SQ drivers, but require big ported enclosures to sound good.

Still one of my all time favorites. But if you're looking for a lot of "boom boom"...look elsewhere.
