what's the deal? is that just something wrong with the EJ6 or is there some faulty line somewhere? i'm often losing reception where normally signal should be strong

When I had the stock oem antenna that came with the car I had excellent reception for most stations and then when I switched to a new one from the dealer since that original was damaged by theft my reception is horrible.

i was reading on crutchfield that honda antennas have a propensity for faultiness at 5+ years. they sell a nice lookin replacement for $15 ... hmm tempted to get it, but do they have a clearing house in canada i wonder. i hate customs waits :\

the stock antenna slides the same except it's one solid piece not a bunch of collapsible lengths

edit: it appears they do have a canadian warehouse so i ordered one... since it appears there's some interest in the topic i'll post a review when i get it in (fortunately for xpresspost and warm weather streak

You may want to try an FM Booster. The link will take you to a place I found (via web) in Toronto but I do believe Canadian Tire sells them too.
