rattle from rear shelf in EK

Anyone else notice the rattle that comes from the rear shelf in the EK coupe?
Or is it just me?
when i reverse out of my driveway, and it the edge at the end, i always hear it...and most other times i go over signiicant bumps, its not too loud, just sounds like the whole shelf is loose
this used to happen in my 99 si as well, anyone know what causes it? or how to make it stop?

There are like 4 clips that secure the rear shelf.
Make sure they are all in.

That's exactly what I did. I used very thin carpet underpading. You have to remove the rear seats and side panels before the rear shelf will come out though. It's a little work, but I have no rattles anymore.

it's usually the wire harness for the rear center high mounted brake light that vibrates. tape it down with duct tape or whatever...
