Anyone have any thoughts/suggestions/ideas on ripping out the rear seats of a hatch civic '98 and any recommendations of what can replace them? i was thinking of buildin a box, extending the trunk and gettin some cool lighting, details, etc... what would u do??

 

when i get bored im going to gut it and just put black carpet. But i'm more about speed/track over neons and audio crap. I know one guy who mounted his amp and put a bunch of neons and junk on his rear bench.. it kinda looked outta place imo

 

some guys put carpeted wooden boards in the back.

mines all metal, i havent had seats rear seats in my coupe since i bought it. id like to get some sort of wood carpeted floor so you dont see the metal.

 

ya, bare metal is kindda boring/ugly. i like the idea of carpeted lighweight immitation wood/vinyl but, once i took out the seats its MUCH more noisy- obviously. so, might put them back in now...lol.... ****ty
