Remote Connection

I was just wondering how the remote connection would work if you were to have a set up with 2 amps and a CD changer. Would you just split the remote wire that comes from the deck? What if you were to add some fans into the setup? Thanks in advance.

Use a relay man. There inexpensive (like $4) and you can run as many devices off it as you want, as long as it doens't go over the rated amperage, usualy like 25-30 amp.

Thanks for the help! Do you think that two fans (one blowing in and one sucking the air out) would be fine for a two amp system under a false floor?

Even better would be to have both fans either sucking or blowing, and cut the same diameter size holes across the amp rack for the air movement to flow.

The push/pull configuration all it does is allow the fans to work less, but ot doens't add anythign if there doing the same thing.

If you have them the way i suggest, you have double the amoutn of air passign through.

Sounds good. So the two fans is enough. Thanks once again.

P.S. Does anyone know where I can get two 8" subs?

Yeah 2 fans should be plenty. As for the subs, sorry dont know any shops off the top of my head but i do know most companies make 8" subs, like JL w3, RF he2 8" etc.

Most car audio shops will have them, or can order them.
