i started painting my dash today inside the car and just taped everything off, but then realized with the window i could not get in close to the top of the dash, does anyone know how to get the top part of the dash around the window out? or another way to get at this part? removing the window?

 

window you mean the winshield and if you remove it then you need a new one b/c those are very hard to take out and put back in b/c most of the time they crack when removing it. Not worth it and if your talking about the dash you have to take the whole thing out b/c it's one piece along with the grey lining.
