get the haynes manual for your car, it has everything.
but basically what you have to do is take off that dash peice that's below the steering wheel, then take out ur glove box, then undo the screws that hold the center bottom piece (where u took out the 2 screws from), and you should be able to get to the stock deck without a problem.

None of this suff seems to work. I took off my glove box, and the piece below the wheel to get at the side of the deck housing, but there is a plastic shield over it. The haynes manuel says to remove the 2 retaining screws from thw bottom, but I can't see them. I remember reading something on this board a while ago, about how the deck it self sits in a kinda sleeve like thing, and once the deck is pushed in, it lock with like pin kinda things, that need to be pulled down before you can push the deck out of the sleeve. Does this make any sense?, If so where do I find them. Also I don't know if the deck in my car is stock or aftermarket, it's just a shitty pioneer 35 x 4 watt cd player, but the frame oround it mtches the plastic part of the dash, so I assume that its stock. Maybe I'll just ask someone at the meet toniight. Loudsubz, will you be there, you seem to know a shitload about car audio, and can probably help me alot with a ton of other quetions I have for hooking up my playstation and such. I drive a red 5th gen coupe, bone stock with a bumber sticker that says "I love cops"
