Most "professionals" are not that far away from most DIY enthusiasts...

You can do it...

First off..

What kind of armrest??

What kind of fabric/vinyl/leather are you attaching??

Can the armrest be removed from the car??

do you have an adhesive already???

I did mine....I went to fabric land bought some elephant suede for $4...then took apart the arm rest, cut the fabric to size, and put it over the existing fabric...once i tightened the screws back down, it gave it a nice tight seal.

I did with my acura EL arm rest pad.
