screw in aftermarket deck?

screw in aftermarket deck?

is there any way i can screw some part of my deck into anywhere behind the paneling? so 1. theives wud have to take apart the whole dash to get the deck out..or b superman... and 2. it wont fly out if i do a launch

yes...thats why they come with screws and that strapping with holes...hell you could even tack a couple welds too if u wanted too haha...thats what my friend did to his jeep wrangler

ur factory deck was a double din tho i believe... mine is a single din.. so it only had like a bracket kinda thing at the back...and it doesnt fit the aftermarket deck

my factory deck is a single din with a plastic holder thing at the bottom. it is a 2 din space. The screws go in the side of the deck i believe but im not 100% sure. I put my deck in maybe 5 years ago so i cant really remember that well.

97 Si... but i got it now.. i took a bracket that u normally use on like a door or w/e and bent it to shape the back of my deck better then hooked it up to where the factory deck screws in in the back..... my deck is so difficult to take out now even without the screw it wasn really tight and surprisingly difficult to take out

just a word of caution, theives will destroy your dash if they cant get your deck out, whats worth more, your radio or your cars interior?
