speaker and tweeter suggestions

Wanted to get a suggestion of what front speakers and tweeters i should put in the front of my coupe to best compliment my two 12" audiobahn's in the trunk and a pair of pioneer speakers in the rear. I'm looking to spend approx $150 before tax maybe a little more if it's worth it.

Also is it difficult to install front tweeters and where would be the best place to put them.
Thanx in advance.

maybe some clarion components... but its not going to be any crazy sound if you want that for only 150.... i spend $500 on my front speakers and they still arent as good as i would like them to be... you need an amp for them because your subs probably overpower all your speakers now as it is..

when you buy a pair of component speakers they come with a crossover box... you speaker wire from the deck connects to the crossover box and splits it to the woofer and the tweeter and you mount the tweeters on your a-pilar or in your doors... for soundstaging purposes the a-pillar is better with the tweeters aimed toward the glass.

In terms of tweeter placement, experimentation is key.

If mounting tweeters are more trouble that you want to get into, look for components than can be coaxially mounted.

If you're on a budget you can also look into coaxil speakers...however components are usually far superior because of the cross-over section.

you order from the US, but garaunteed some of the cheapest prices you'll find... if you don't mind ordering, car audio is so much cheaper in the US than in Canada

I have a brand new-in box pair of Alpine Type S 6.5" inch speakers with a built in tweeter. They are 250W peak and 50RMS. My buddy would sell his tweeters with the crossovers, so if interested pm me. $100 for the pair. thnx
