Hey guys,

i've been having a few issues lately...

anyway,last night i'm driving, everything was fine until the speakers cut out (there was a few beeps before it cut out, not sure if it was coming from the deck). the deck powers up and seems fine but there is no sound coming out of the speakers.

I tried trouble shooting tonite,

i hooked up my amp to my sub, and there IS sound coming out of there (RCA's).

my speakers are hooked up to the deck (no external amp for the interior speakers), so i unhooked the front right speaker from the back of the deck and wired up an external speaker directly to the back of the deck (to see if there is any output from the deck), i got nothing.

would this mean my outputs on the deck are fried? how would this happen?

if there is a short in one of the speaker wires, the external speaker should have worked when i wired it up to the deck right?

the deck is fairly new...got it last november...Clarion DXZ725, i'm using all stock internal speakers...

let me know if you require any additional info.

any help would be appreciated..

sounds like the internal amp on the deck is fried man, best way to test is take a multimeter to the speaker wires coming from the deck and see if u get any reading from it.
