I want to buy Recaros....but was wondering if anybody could tell me which seats are better and why?

I want to buy the SRD Recaro Seats or the JDM Recaros......NOT the USDM Type R seats.

The two look the same but have some minor differences....based on appearance. So I was wondering if anybody could tell me which is better and why?

the JDM seats are suede while the normal srd's are cloth, they both basically cost the same cuz they are the same seat

also the JDM R seats are designed to direct bolt into civics/integra

 

the JDM recaro is called the SR-II just so that might help you in your search...... one difference is that the JDM seats are a bit narrower in the *** area, thus a tighter fit for skinny guys like me :thumbsup:

 

I like the SRD better, cuz you can buy them NEW!!

 

It is hard to source out a good used JDM seats in a fair condition, the price has dropped since last summer.

SRD has this mixed colour down the centre, where the JDM one is sorta body matched. Also bigger lettering. Anyway, stuff like this I would rather purchase new if you care that much. Somethings you can purchase used, but some needs to be new to appreciate the value of it.

Also, I personally think black seats are nice. Red is cool, but too attractive. Both are hot seats, it is your call
