In my civic, i have the tweeter pods that are located right next to the side mirrors. Right now I am looking for a set to replace them, but have yet to find a store that carry just the tweeter. Does anyone know of a place to pick up a pair of tweeters and ones that will fit into the tweeter pods without modification.

Pioneer ones, perfect fit, $75 or so.

It depends on what kinda of sound quality you want.

You want something better that stock?

Or you are someone who is really picky on the sound quality?


If you want decent quality sound in your car.
You need to swap out the stock deck and all speakers.
That's the basic. However, you could install the tweeter kit over stock system, honda does have a tweeter kit specially for civic, I am not sure how much it cost, but I guess at least $150

You should ask loudsub about stereo mod, he's pretty much the expert around here.

To me, the pioneer tweeters are decent for $75 I pay shouldn't expect too much. but are they better than stock? Sure, they are hell alot better than stock.

There are many other speakers(tweeter) avaiable, if you haven't changed your stock speakers, you might consider component speakers.

Yea, i would have got componments, but the front speakers i got now are infinity reference series which i got out of my old car. Right now in my car everything audio has been changed but the tweeters. Thanks for the help, I'll probally be picking these speakers up, if i dun like them i can always return them.

Depends on what you really want to do. If you just want slightly better sound, like mentioned above just buy the tweets from CT or whatever ones sound good to you.

you can also check out www.partsexpress.com they have a bunch of odds and end speaker parts there.

If you seriousely want it to sound great, get a component set and drop them in kick panels or build door pods. And amp them.
