Weak Civic Horn (meep meep) want to change!

Hey All,

I find the horn on the civic so weak.. and I want to swap it out for a much louder one...


Any suggestions? Anyone do this before?

I tried looking for a hella horn, but didnt find any good sites...

Any suggestions?

try ebay. but hella horns are very loud appearantly.
they are red and look almost stock and they actually connect to your battery if i'm not mistakened

hellas are legal, yes..
i had them..

they run from your stock wiring thru a relay running off the battery..
relay is a must

yeppers....
patch into the original horn wiring to activate the relay....

easier w/ the front bumper off, but still do-able w/o pulling it

get the kit, you can get it at Cobra at dundas and erindale station road in Mississauga.. they'll have to order them but it should only take a day or two to come in.. price is like $90ish..

well when i do use the horn I don't want people laughing at me instead of getting the message that they are not driving properly..

seriously tho, the civic horn sounds weak

LOL I put a horn from a saturn in my civic cause that was the only horn i could get out of a wrecker car...lol sounds like shlt , saturn safetycar,but it safetyed
