What fuse for my amp's power wire

Hey guys

I have a power wire that was left in my civic when I bought it. I noticed that the fuse was burned and I need a new one. I haven't gotten an amp yet, but am wondering if I can buy the fuse without knowing what amp I'll use.

The fuse that was in there was a 20amp, should I get more; the same? I will be using a single JL Audio 10W0-8 sub. Thanks.

The power line should be fused with the same amperage fuse as your amplifier, or as close as possible.

yep thrill house is right.
match it to your amp. so buy the amp first then get a fuse
