Wiring 2X DVC Subs to Mono block amp at 2ohm's
I have a MTX 421D mono block and two Audiobahn AW1006T subs. The subs are dual voice coil and i want to wire them to my amp to get the full 420watts going to them how would i wire these to get them to 2ohms stable cause 1ohm is too much for the amp.. any help is appreciated maybe a wiring diagram...

using just the subs themselves you CANNOT wire them to a 2 ohm MONO load
the best you can do is a 4 ohm MONO load to the amp with 2 DVC 4 ohm subs
4 + 4 = 8 ohms
8 in paralell = 4 ohms
or 2 ohm in paralell with 2 ohm is 1
the only other option you have is to use impedance matching transformers
