01 civic si revving high at hiway speeds

01 civic si revving high at hiway speeds
Hey all, I'm new to this aite and new to honda's. Its an si and when I am driving 100 in 5th I'm reving 3100 on the tac. I know its high but I'm wondering if that's normal for an si? Thanks guys.

What year is the civic?

Since it's an si, it means it has a shorter gear ratio in the tranny. I have an si tranny too, and im at around 3500 at 120kmh.

Its a 2001, and when I'm doing 120 its revving 3500 also. I'm also wondering what an 01-05 si should get out of a tank of fule for km.

I don't know about yours, but I get about 400+ kms a tank of 91. The higher the octane, the more you get.
