Top Gear only tested the bone stock Evo 9.
Once you start getting into the 600hp mark, you're not exactly dealing with a stock setup.
Most modded Evos running around that kind of power arent even 4wd anymore. And totally gutted. The Evo traction system is usualy taken out as well. Engines are swapped from east-west setup to north-south for the rear wheel drive.

damm, that really sucks ***, i really hate when such nice tuned cars get hurt.

I'm not sure but did he run to close to the end of the track, tried to turn realising too late and locked his breaks?

thats what ive seen at the track alot, people miss judging the distance and swerving locking the break and loosing control.

+1 to the guy for keeping his cool and laughing it off, i'd freak out and get real pissed.lol

Wow I was amazed at the amount of control this guy had on his car even tho he inititated the spin he kept it out of the grass for the most part.

reminds me when i got my civic sideways on a single lane off-ramp at 100km'h whoo thats is hairy still doesn't compare to 183 mph but dam
