I saw an R8 in Europe in the summer, while I was there. It was either in France or Belgium. I was trying to take a pic of it, but I was on a tour bus, and they car went by already.

Its a really nice car.

 

strangely enough I saw two of these today with calgary plates in Ajax. the are indeed very nice cars but I find it strange the the rear suicide door are a different colour... are they suicide door ???

I saw a white one with Alberta plates in Toronto about a month ago, maybe the same one.

It's not a suicide door, and it comes in various finishes. Colour matched, aluminum, carbon fibre (pic attached below), contrasting colour.
I love how the manual has a gated shifter, that is sick.
