everyone's an e-thug, half... wait more than half the people on this boards that talk **** wouldn't say even close to the same things in person as they do on the boards.

the internet makes it easy for everyone to be a know-it-all, and a tough guy... just cuz noone can kick your *** over the computer doesn't mean you have to be an instigator.

Seems like the hard-on admins aren't on the site anymore, maybe something the admin/mod team should talk about and possibly give some "power" to someone who can be a dick and will calm things down even tho I find the boards lately to be very slow and not much going on....

I for one am all for the "new rule" as it were. I believe in constructive criticism rather than the blatant bashing that has been apparent here. I applaud the need for a firmer hand on these boards.

All boards have these same problems. Each case should be treated specifically to the situtation and individuals disciplined according through various warnings, suspensions and expulsions.

There is nothing wrong with criticism but bashing someone or their car is just plain childish. I don't post a lot but I do sit here and read a lot of posts and find I have to just bite my lip, because I have to be non biased. I have had people say this and that about the pictures I have posted up but you don't see me crying about it and I have had people call me jealous when I add my two cents but what ever. I don't see this new rule as being effective, there will be bashing still. I think you need to add more admins like Gallagher said to police the site more, this site is getting very busy so that will help a lot more.

I agree to an extent, however it is the people on this site that have lead to the success of TCC, no people = no TCC. Constructive criticism is needed everywhere throughout the world. Bashing is different but there is a fine line between that the admin should respect.

And you think "FUGLY" is constructive criticism?? You need your head checked, no where do you recommend a different approach in this statement nor any sort of explanation to the user to what you don't like about the car. But you posted that before the new rule so it slides now.

Things like "I'm not feeling the tails" or I'd do this differently" are consided constructive.

I know that we appreciate all the people that bring something to the club....we like to meet new and interesting people and get to know those who most likely we would never have met outside of this community...Unfortunately it seems that most of the problems arise from those who are not interested in adding value but are interested in finding a place to waste time and start crap...Based on this I believe going forward we will need to improve the screening process and take into account how people act and interact on this board....

When you say that you can't post "any negative comments" does that mean no constructive criticism?
Because it is a hard line to draw, but I think constructive criticism can be helpful.

No you can add constructive critism, but no s h i t talking. We are supposed to be on here to support this club and make it grow in a positive way, not have people here hating on each other. You can say you don't like something but the needless remarks like gay, fugly is just not needed. I hope I cleared this up a bit.

The thing that really needs to happen is people to actually think before they say something. Because without tone or emotion with typing, no one can 100% determine what you're trying to say, and can easily take it the wrong way.

I'm not dismissing the fact about all the bashing, it is true, and this new rule is a good idea. I'll also agree on the positivity of constructive criticism.

Basically what I'm saying is if people spent a little more time to properly communicate what they're thinking and taking into account who could be offended by what, and DISCUSSING instead of ARGUING, it'd be alot more friendly around here.

In the end, good idea and I hope stuff settles down in the bashing dept.
