I can think of several people who fall into that category. I read so many threads and comments in the chit-chat section that are nothing but random crap. Sure its the chit-chat section, but many people could not give a rat's *** about TCC. They are simply here to waste time and get their thrills bashing each other and TCC's rules.

Sometimes I wish TCC was a private club where only paid members could post.

Go away if you don't like the rules.

Lol, I think my post was taken the wrong way, I meant it in a sarcastic way... not in a rude way... like teasing you know...

so i dont really understand, im assuming you mean the persons car got knocked on in a thread that likely asked for comments and opinions?

TCC is biased.. put it on hondatech and get some real criticism perhaps

If you don't like how someone runs a store you don't go there .....but it seems that many who don't like the rules come back just to go angainst them and wonder why they get banned ....if you don't like the rules in our park there are other ones around ...

damn i didnt know about this rule at all, well i havent read any rules as of yet. but i usually dont diss others or talk trash, joke around yes but nothing personal to anyone.

i will choose my words carefuly next time i post, and hopefuly not offend anyone, but most ppl know me and i only reply to their threads anyways.

i think mods and admins are doing great job on keeping their eyes on things, now things are def better then what it was like month or so ago.

I support this rule and everything about it. I tip my hat to you madam. There are some real ignorant people on this site as of late. I stopped posting here for the longest time because of the level of ignorance. I feel the same as Davis, you read some stuff and just stay silent before things get worse.

while were on this fairness crap and not starting **** maybe we should reconsider posts like:

http://www.torontocivics.com/tccforu...hreadid=125230[/URL]

http://www.torontocivics.com/tccforu...ht=middle+east

http://www.torontocivics.com/tccforu...ht=middle+east

http://www.torontocivics.com/tccforu...ht=middle+east

etc.

Maybe we should consider all offences as opposed to ones that just pertain to our cars.

Making enemies over these topics are far more dangerous then calling someone out on their car

wherever theres a internet forum filled with a bunch of young ricer kids there is bound to be jackasses and ppl making fun of others
they should be able to handle it and just move on instead of being a ***** and crying about it

i dont agree with the new rule, but i gotta follow it (although i dont really make fun of ppls cars much)

throughout the forums the only thing people should be criticizing is the cars at most, its when other off-topic attacks arise that the media rule should apply.

tru say raj...but if its only limited to some genuine feedback. some ppl start to throw hate all over the place and the comments become so negative that it is a sore to read....and those some are regulars....and must be taken care of.

constructive criticism = yes
negative criticism and bashing = no

we have to remember that TCC as a club is not only for those who are already on it and those have some decent modding and car ownership experience....

new or relatively new members or those are new to the scene and are going through the cycle of learning how to 'do it right' should be welcomed and helped out....cuz otherwise...there is no community development. If you cant help or teach anyone from your experience, what is the point of it all....

the problem though salman is that someone may give constructive criticism on a persons car, but the person who posted up their car take it the wrong way and start crying about it. i think that as soon as you post up a pic of your car, you're fair game for any comment, good or bad. the world is full of negativity, but if you can't take it from your friends and build and learn off of it, you shouldn't post anything.

NEW MEDIA RULE!!!!

This is the new gospel for this forum (in addition to the posted rules)

I have been away for some time now, only popping in on occasion to look at what is going on, however my life priority has now come to pass and I can focus some more time here, so be warned.

It appears that a person I appointed to lead the TCC Show Team is consistently being harassed on the site. I consider this person friend (and particularily undeserving of all this criticism), but my concern is purely business based. I am finding this disruptive to my other events and to the site in general.

So now I must make the rule:

IF YOU HAVE NOTHING NICE TO SAY ABOUT A PERSON OR VEHICLE, DO NOT POST IN THE THREAD. If I find any person writing any negative comments about another member (or user) of this site their post will be deleted and their access to this forum/or all forums will be removed. If multiple persons violate this rule the forum will be closed to new posts for a period of time and/or removed all together.

Most of the perpetrators of this harassment are guests and they get to post here for FREE, have access to buy/sell for FREE, access to GB's for FREE...I think they should really learn to show some respect to those who put forth the effort to make this site successful.

I intend to ENFORCE this rule for the comfort of all persons, and my decisions will be final in all cases.

Respectively yours,

RESIDENT ***** has spoken

Some of you better smarten up because my ban finger is getting real itchy. Watch the video's that are being posted on here, and to dispell any rumours, no one is untouchable when it comes to being banned. Paid or non paid members. This also goes to behavior on this board which has been real unexcusable lately.

You all have been warned!

Because He is what is called a MODERATOR, which means he moderates the threads, he makes the rules, and does whatever he can in his power to make TCC A RESPECTFULL, MATURE, COMFORTABLE PLACE TO BE.

Chris_SI98 let's be mature about it, honestly. Don't call me daddy but weren't you warned as everyone in the 96-00 thread was warned? I will try to be as nice as I can to you, even though you blatantly called me "an idiot making stupid comments"

These moderators were nice enough to allow the talking to go through the picture post threadsw seing that there was no bashing, harm, disrespect, and misconduct going around. Just kind, respectfull opinions. remeber what ELECTRONBLUE stated:
Originally posted by electronblue IF YOU HAVE NOTHING NICE TO SAY ABOUT A PERSON OR VEHICLE, DO NOT POST IN THE THREAD.
Even after this warning, it seemed all of a sudden there were crude, immature, unfair comments about people and thier cars. After multiple, multiple warnings a couple people finally had no good comments to say, one person even after the very last recent warning, a couple posts away, another argument arised.
Without a doubt, the thread was closed down. what a shame.

As for Chris_Si98, i shook hands with you and introduced myslef like a mature respectufll man. Don't forget who i am because i sure as heck did not forget whpo you are and what you look like, and sure as heck never started with you in any unfair ways.
You stepped on alot of people, you called mayoe mayonnaise and race, YOU CALLED ME AN IDOIT MAKING STUPID COMMENTS?? REMEBR YOU ARE STILL CHRIS_SI98 NOT CHUCK NORRIS. I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU THINK YOU ARE HERE ON THE NET. BUT I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU SWING ALL THAT TALK OVER TO ME RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE AT THE NEXT TCC MEET.!!!!! JUST TO SEE HOW MUCH OF A MAN YOU ARE OFF THE NET. Remeber i didn't start nothing with you

As far as I am concerned, you guys either need to get a life or grow up or both. This is just plain stupid and ridiculous. I hope to god you guys don't act and behave like this in front of your friends and family. Seriously, this is the net, and you guys act like whiney little babies. Well, if that is the way you guys want to act, then this is how you will be treated in the future, because obviously you guys have no respect for one another, and you all know who I am talking about.

Again, like I said, things are going to change around here from this point on and some of you are NOT going to like it.

Nuff said!

I think the bickering between a bunch of members has to stop. As a result, the threads are going to be cleared up and moved back. It will definetly take some time as there is a **** load of posts in that thread.

But all in all, please grow up. If you have a problem with a member, or members' please deal with it through PM.

It would seem that some of you do not get this concept. Fair enough. Expect to lose your access to the Misc forum, that would inlcude Media and Chit Chat for a short period of time at mine or any other admins discrestion as we see fit. We have not followed through with this new media rule as Michelle stated in the beginning. Tonight I did and will continue to from this point on.

Don't say youy haven't been warned.
