Amazing pics of Dubai
Wow - thats all I can say...these pics actually leave me speachless
Check out the monorail thing down the middle of the road! It's like they're ahead 20 years, how come Toronto can't look like this???
This pic has apparently been taken from the tallest building in the world in Dubai...apparently its so tall that you can even see the curve of the globe on a clear day!!

I'm buying a house on one of these palms, its a gift for my wife, we are getting married soon, this or either one of the condo's. But the condo's are really expensive for what you get.
They have good deals. I'm looking at the million dollar home for 100 year lease, turns out to be the same as owning a two garage home that cost $490 to $520k over here. To be honest it won't cost me a penny when i sell my home in Richmond Hill.
As to the possibility of water destruction, they would not take on such projects with such risks, as a person with corporate experience. Stock holders never invest in 50% return always 100% return. They first built the palms then waited to see the effects, they had to re-surface the palms ever few days, because it was being washed away, while also seeing the effects of the harsh sea storms but the location itself is very mild.
I will post a video if i can find it on the reliability of these palms.
If you guys think this is impressive, check out my thread on "REEM-B"
Thanks for the pics, i miss Dubai.

Plus it doesn't mean i have to live there for 100 years, the property is increasing its value every year. I can just sell it when i decide to move or transfer the remaining lease.
This is the first place with a trend to allow foreigners to buy property, otherwise no where in the Gulf can a foreigner by property, its illegal, but now Dubai is changing and so are one or two more close by nations.
Yes, and i can also always pass it down to family.
Why would i have to work till im 130? ever herd of pension or investments,RRSP, savings?

Thanks for posting this, i have been dying to eat this for the last weak, but keep forgetting to find few hours to go and grab one. I have tried almost every kind of shawarma in the GTA, but none is as real or close to real shawarmas like this small resteraunt in down town, on Cumberland.st & Young st.
$4 for the tastiest shwarma ever!
