Me and my wife just bought the Nissan a few weeks ago. Before that...we were so much into the Honda CRV but the financing part did not made sense to me. No point in paying 4.9% when the market is at 0% to 2% for 60 months. I still believe that CRV offers excellent value but one to one...Murano is a killer.
I test drove at least 5 different SUVs (Murano, CRV, Pilot, Highlander and Pathfinder) and simply loved the Murano. They say its the most fuel efficient SUV and so far...it is giving me 13L/100KM. Thats quiet a leap for a family driving a Civic but it is still better than the Pilot & Highlander.
I still love the Civic...im **** about mantaining it....i wash and detail it every two weeks..inside and out....my wife thinks thats crazy..lol It hasnt given me a single trouble in the past four years.

No doubt 4Runner is a tough machine but was more expensive and less fuel efficient. (14L / 100KM vs. 11.5L/100KM of Murano). Plus the cross-over shape was what we went for.
Murano's suspension is stiff...it corners quick...you can feel the firmness of the springs/shocks. I also checked the FX35 but it was out of my budget.
BTW....where is the type-r front lip that we talked about? You have been MIA after our last conversation on it? I want it.
