Few pics from Portugal

Went to the Portugese islands for a few weeks.. I'm by no means a 'photographer' so don't judge too harsh.. and YES the first picture is a beer that I purchased at McDonalds..

looks like a great place to visit, hella good pics

how was the beer? does it taste all skunky like the imports do here?

The beer was alright. They had heinekein there and 3 other portuguese beers (only 4 were real popular there). Hein. tasted a bit different, wasn't really a fan. But the Portuguese beers were pretty good. They were all pretty light tasted, no bad after taste. But man, the beers there are so cheap, it's unreal. A 500mL draft would cost me about 2.25CDN dollars. A bottle of beer would be 1 euro, so 1.60ish CDN. Real cheap alcohol..

Beer in european countries are always cheaper. Its more expensive to order a coke most of the time...lol.

Portugal looks beautiful, and I never had any idea it looked like that. Now I want to go there.

hey chris_v2,

i just came back from madeira (portugal for those who don't know) and we had a stop over in the azores and saw some of the stuff you showed. Madeira is way better then the azores though, i'll post pics of some stuff shortly. We were there for 3 weeks.

cheers and yes the beer and smokes were dirt cheap.

Dude.. I've always wanted to go to Madeira.. I think next year, I'm going there and to Lisbon for a few weeks.

I was born and raised in Portugal, extremely beautiful with that euro feel. I wouldn't want to live their right now though, many of the native Portuguese are struggling. The introduction of the Euro made many peoples lives extra difficult.

Regardless, lovely pictures. Those of you who are looking for a vacation packed with above par scenery, all night parties & gorgeous woman - plan your next trip in Portugal
