So, I woke up to an email from my mom & dad with some bad news from them.. there was a fire today at the hotel my dad's been working on for four years.. my parents were staying in the hotel at the time and thought the fire alarm was a drill until they looked out and saw all the smoke. I was glad to hear that everyone got out alright.

It was supposed to open up at the end of the month and have an official opening in november, although the news articles I read are still saying that it will open on time, but I doubt it looking at the damage.. here's some pics I found online and a couple of my own..

dude, this is dubai...it will be open on time...money is endless so work around the clock...its probably fixed already haha

seems like two welders on the roof caused the fire and they just took off running cuz they were scared they ****ed up instead of saying there was a fire..
