The last time the leafs even sniffed the final round was 67. I hate to burst your bubble but if the lives dont make the playoffs they take care of themselves so they are a non issue for Ottawa anyways. At least the sens have a division title that they can be seen winning on colour TV, same with the presidents trophy, but then again leafs are the best team ever even when they dont make the playoffs! lol

The least you could do is live in todays world and not a couple years ago.

They have mastered the art of blowing leads and taking untimely penalties.
Regardless, I will always cheer for them. They have been my team since I started watching hockey.
Ottawa just annoys me, I can't stand their team or their fans. I hate them more then the Habs

I hope new management steps in and builds a whole new team.....smartly.

Honestly, the current management and previous could have easily built a good team, but what is their incentive to do so? No matter how good or bad the leafs are, they will continue to sell out. Their fan base doesn't dictate how they operate because they refuse to stay away. So in essense, they have no reason to revamp the team. So far they have made them just good enough to make the playoffs, but now, they haven't done that for the past two years, and they are still selling out. Until that changes or someone decides to get bold and blow up the team and revamp it, it ain't gonna happen. And now with the new CBA, it will be even harder to do that unless they get real creative.....

I think CBC had the Leafs in mind when they coined the phrase "The Tradition Continues".
It's funny how the most profitable team in the NHL, can't put together a good team. Long live Ballard!

Well kingjames, so far this year the Leafs are terrible.
They have mastered the art of blowing leads and taking untimely penalties.
Regardless, I will always cheer for them. They have been my team since I started watching hockey.
