NEW MEDIA RULE!!!!

This is the new gospel for this forum (in addition to the posted rules)

I have been away for some time now, only popping in on occasion to look at what is going on, however my life priority has now come to pass and I can focus some more time here, so be warned.

It appears that a person I appointed to lead the TCC Show Team is consistently being harassed on the site. I consider this person friend (and particularily undeserving of all this criticism), but my concern is purely business based. I am finding this disruptive to my other events and to the site in general.

So now I must make the rule:

IF YOU HAVE NOTHING NICE TO SAY ABOUT A PERSON OR VEHICLE, DO NOT POST IN THE THREAD. If I find any person writing any negative comments about another member (or user) of this site their post will be deleted and their access to this forum/or all forums will be removed. If multiple persons violate this rule the forum will be closed to new posts for a period of time and/or removed all together.

Most of the perpetrators of this harassment are guests and they get to post here for FREE, have access to buy/sell for FREE, access to GB's for FREE...I think they should really learn to show some respect to those who put forth the effort to make this site successful.

I intend to ENFORCE this rule for the comfort of all persons, and my decisions will be final in all cases.

not to be a d!ckhead or anything but when posting pics up on a public site u should be ready for any kind of criticism. No one likes it but hey, thats life

 

 

SO this new rule does it omit admins? Im not gunna name people but i think u know who.

there is criticism and then there was what was goin on in that other thread...I'm sure if one was to say "no, I dont like your car its not my style, I'm not in to show cars etc" that would be fine but calling out people and just dissing them is another thing...maybe the rule should be constructive critcism only cuz in the end thats the only one that helps and doesnt make the poster seem like an idiot

 

All persons are going to be treated equal, I do not play favorites, if someone starts **** they will be dealt with. Friendships aside, I always conduct business impartial.

You know if it stayed constructive in the first place we wouldn't be having this conversation...unfortunately when dealing with children you must set the restrictions in black and white. And you must admit their has been some pretty childish behaviour happening lately.

 

oh come on u know wut i meant. Of course im a nobody when it comes to this site but i find it sad ppl cant suck it up when it comes to criticism. Of course if it wuz degrading or racist or wutever it wuz of course that should not be tolerated but denying us the ability to speak our thoughts sucks. U know how many times ppl have sad bad things about my car, and sumtimes i actually learned from it.

 

Your not a nobody (actually what you are saying is important to me)...it has really been taken too far lately to complete banter back and forth. If people remained respectful, whether you like them or not, this wouldn't have blown into this.

IM a paid member for a reason even tho ive yet to use discounts, just proud to be a member so i understand the need for rules

 

I like the new rule, and I think it will suit everyone just fine. And I think people will appreciate it more, if people start bashing on their car or them for no reason at all.

I really enjoy coming onto TCC, and would hope that people can respect these rules. It's not nice to bash on anyone or to pick on people because you are jealous of their car (just admit it).

I've seen the site closed down for a while before due to this sort of non-sense and trust me, it wasn't good.

So everyone get along and be nice.

It is like a closed room, you go in and yell out your lungs. You go out closed the door behind you and forget the whole ordeal.

People deal with issue and stress differently. Some people have a looser panic button than others.

Comments like that make people make remarks that caused this thread. So please, if you are all for the rules, then do not make a stupid comment like that.


I could go on and rant on about something but I choose to keep my fingers off the keyboard (lately). And like I have said before, I am nice to people that are nice to me. Respect is earned, not given.


Anyways, abuot the rule. I agree but to a certain degree. If a picture is posted, it is life that it will be commented on either positive or negative. I can see why there has been a blow-up due to that thread, but I didn't see the end of it, would've been nice tho.



Seems like the hard-on admins aren't on the site anymore, maybe something the admin/mod team should talk about and possibly give some "power" to someone who can be a dick and will calm things down even tho I find the boards lately to be very slow and not much going on....


We need a board meeting, wait, cant do that online
