I'd never heard of the Paris catacombs before.
I just can't understand how the French build would an underground tunnel system of bones; a crypt, ok I understand. 300 kilometers of tunnels...why?

id go i love **** like that all u do is pack some food and lots of bateries and some gyro flashlights and off u go 
we used 2 do that in the old mining tunnels back home u would have 2 climb down an air vent with rope then go explore
i think the stupidest thing we ever did was go down the water tunnels that they used 2 use in the roman times 2 provide water 2 all the little towns around miles and miles of tunnels that can flash flood at any time if it rains we only had it happen 1 time and never went back it was like the scariest water slide u have ever been on and not knowing wen it will stop and u cant hold the sides because it was sandstone and u just wore all the skin off so u had 2 just let yourself go and hope 4 the best >> i think we only went like a 1/2 mile but its still pretty bad > We came out at a tunnel with bars on it and we couldent get out there was a bunch of sticks and rocks stuck in the bars so we managed 2 oped 2 bars up just wide enough 2 get us all through we never went back in m
