for those who drive fast during winter

this happend to me today at the honda dealer in woodstock, a 20 year old kid driving a pos car going 60 in a parking lot through a billion blind spots slid into me. results... well look at the picture that and a pissed off guy lol. his skid over 20 feet and hit me goin about 30, no harm done to myself except for the loss of a loved one(my car) hopefully it gets fixed and is just as good as it was.
anyways i just wanted to show every1 what a parkin lot collision can do, so maybe, just maybe those of you who drive fast doin ebrakes and dumb stuff stop or do it in a safer place then beside a honda dealership.

this kid was driving a 88 olds and its his 3rd accident. now ud think he'd learn but whatever its done so nothing i can do just venting im sure u can all imagine how i felt and feel :P

also cuz alot of ppl are driving there winter beater and dont care if they wreck it but as ucan see u can hit a em1 or a ferrari so slow down (yaya no ferrari's i nthe winter not the point)

anyways heres a couple pics:

if ne1 has questions or comments feel free to post it may make me feel better haha

yah they were after i got done freakin on the kid i called the cops after 20 mins one showed up looked at the cars asked who was driving what then took our insurance papers lisence etc.
10 mins later gets out hands our stuff back takes another look and hands us a accident report and thats that. however i argued becuz i asked about where it says whos at fault for insurance purposes and he said whos to say its in a private parking lot. and i argued about the skid marks and how my car was infront of him and that his tires were bald and unsafe for the road specialy in winter conditions and then i gave up cuz he was dumb. however he put him as driver one on the report which means the one at fault dosnt actualy say it but whatever.

no charges made cuz of it being private property
then towed the car away and the other car drove home sa u can see all he did was crack his bumper

One of my biggest pet peeve's is people driving fast in a parking lot. Dumb dumb dumb. And its not just kids, I see all kinds driving fast through parking lots all the time. It's amazing you don't see more accidents in lots on a daily basis. I drive extra slow in lots, mainly because of people crossing without looking because they assume cars are going to stop and for those people not checking their blind spots for people coming out.

Sorry to see your baby messed up like that, but you got the right attitude.

Notorious can feel your pain though

lol i hear ya.
but from looking at the pics....you need
fender, bumper, spindle, upper control arm, tie-rods, lower control arm, balljoint, rim and tire, headlight (maybe), door (maybe if the door has a little knick that needs fixing).

there is no frame damage, the car might need a slight dent pulled out of the side rail thats it.

if insurance is paying for this then vehicle needs front end colour blending.

nothing more to it.

damn that sucks man.. sorry to hear that.... some people just don't seem to change the way they do things in different environments..its basic in all animals to act differently depending on what area you are in.. in some areas you will be more cautious then others and same goes for some temperatures you will be more cautious then in others....

its like people drive the way they do in the winter the same they do in the summer... and thats not the way to do it... you have to change because everything else does... thats why there are so many accidents right when the winter hits... bunch of dumb people that don't know how to drive..

in parking lots it works the same... you're in a different situation so you should change the way you drive... slow down and be more cautious because anything can just come out at you...

you should have told they cop "what if it was a little kid?". a parking lot is the worse place to be driving fast let alone in the winter... stupid kid....

its sucks how bad things happen to good drivers because of other idiots.

I hope everything works out for you man... you should have taken a picture of the kids car and license place and area information just incase any of us see him on the road we can know to avoid him... or hassle him.. haha..
