anyone can just plop down $6K and buy a decent used bike. has anyone here restored or built their bike? pics?

I'm in the process of rebuilding/customizing my GSXR750 but the project needs to change.



Having a nice reliable daily driver is good.

I was toying with the idea
but with parts being rare and few the bike would spend more time in the garage than anything...

honda is the best for new old stock. bruno, leitner was a bike shop before we started doing civics. we did an old H2 kawasaki converted it to a four cylinder from a triple, not a different engine either we grafted a 4th cylinder on to the 3... it was killer. we did all kinds of **** like that in the 80s early 90s.

yeah, I know about your bike heritage, very cool. that's insane that you grafted a 4th cyl onto a block!! super cool. I'm never gonna do anything w/ bikes, but I got mad respect for ppl who build their own.

GVH, great daily and a nice project. what are your plans?
