Hi, my first car and its a civic! :)
Hey everyone my name is David,
I have currently bought my first car and its a 2000 Honda Civic SE.
everything is stock and i have plans to start building it in two years.
why two years you ask?, because my dads mechanic i bought it off of promised two years from this car, if it makes it, then a new motor will be put in, probably a b20 v-tec, and the turbo, etc, etc.
for now im going very light modifications like painting interior in about 2 months, might get new rims and have to fix some interor problems like visor clip broken
Thanks for reading and any comments are welcome!
Cheers!

If you'd like to start a thread about your car to show pictures and get feedback, post up in the Media section http://www.torontocivics.com/f19/.
If you have technical questions, the Tech Section of the forum is categorized into different areas (e.g., Engines, Audio, Exterior, etc.). Ask a question there, and you're sure to receive the help you need.

Welcome to TCC
wow..if my dad was a mechanic..i woudlnt wait 2 yrs..i wouldnt wait 2 secs...i would start now.
in my opinion b20 is a waste..b18c is the bomb.
interior fix ups are easy, just look around for civic part outs and u can get dirt cheap parts.
good luck

The colour i had in mind would have been a little darker colour blue, plus in the summer the black would get really hot does it not?
How about a White interior with black trim parts?
so the mats would be black to hide the dirt of course! lol, and then the doors would be white. However, the speaker cover, shift box, and all the little trim deatails that you had painted blue in white? and im also thinking of getting white rims so it would go nicely.
let me know what you think and my thread with car pics are coming soon...hopefully
a pure white dash, wonder how that would look....
