hdr is supposed to be done in RAW, i used jpeg, thats why it looks off...next time. if anyone has a serial # for adobe photoshop cs2 osx that is willing to let it go, pm it to me and i will get gallagher to give you a "reach around"

Most of the HDR shots i've done are in jpg.
Easier in RAW, yes.

why do they end up all infrared looking? when I use CS3 to merge to hdr they dont turn out like that...try photomatix steve

i made it like that matt. you take the .pbk file and go to image>mode>16bit then an hdr conversion window opens, under the method tab you choose> local adaptation then i just screwed around with the histogram curve to get the freaky ****. i am just trying to get a handle on the way it works so its a little over the top.

your images arent aligned...16 images is really overkill for HDR 3 is usually more than enough...1 proper exposure, 1 under exposure and 1 over exposure

16 is Waaaaaay too much. hdr works well with lanscape shots, because there is the sky and ground to take at dif exposures. Also hdr works well in long exposures. not zoomed in on a flowers bed.
