I got 2 speeding tickets in a day.
I just got 2 speeding tickets. 1 is going on the 400 doing 150km/h and the limit is 100km/h. The other 1 was 2.5 hours later going on birchmount and shepperd and i was going down a hill. Limit was 60 and he pointed me 78km/h. Is not my fault for the second 1 because i was going downhill and i didn't even accelerate. What is the best way to fight for it? I'm not going to use those x-coppers and those guys to help me fight for it. I was driving a dodge caravan 2005 too. Not even my civic and i get pulled over. My civic is mod and they don't pull me over. I will just tell them that they were against me. The 1 on 400 was bs too because everyone was going like 140-150km/h and he said he radar me. I saw him from far and i was on the left side lane behind a van and then i went to 1 right lane and i saw the cops were hiding there. He showed me the radar doing 150km/h and i doubt he caught me because when i saw him he didn't even see me and i brake already. Oh well. Going to fight for this SH*T. Any advice would be appreciated.

When going downhill, there is this thing called a brake pedal that you can use to control your speed. The brake pedal on your Honda and on the Caravan you were driving are situated roughly in the same place, immediately to the left of the gas pedal that you are obviously quite familiar with. Have a look the next time they let you near a car.
In any case, both Honda and Caravan brake pedals work the same way - when you press on them with your foot, the car should begin to slow. They even work on hills, uphill or down. Note, you first have to lift your foot off the gas pedal.
You should be able to get off pretty easily on that though. Just tell the judge that you were unaware of the braking device present in the car and all will be good.
On the 400 you got caught doing 150 in the Caravan, but everybody knows that the cop pulled you over only because he KNEW you were really a Honda driver in disguise. Who else would be doing 150 kmph in a Caravan?
The good thing is that the cop wrote you up for 50 km over. Because the cop slipped up that way, you'll get an automatic court appearance where you'll be able to show the cop up for what he is - a person biased against Honda drivers no matter what they actually driving at the moment.
The judge will be sure to believe you, so you won't lose your license, 6 points, and several hundred dollars that day.
Just go to court, make those arguments, and all will be good. After all, you're a real winner, aren't you?

I just read an article about radar. I think i can defend myself by showing how radar works better than the cop use. I think i'm safe. I'm worried about the 150km/h 1. The 78km/h one on a 60 zone is nothing. I can get off with that 1. The 150km/h one i can use by saying a lot of excuses. Like there were so many cars on the 400 and the radar could of bounce of another object or another car. Also it is near the airport and it could interfere with the radar gun reading 150km/h. I got a lot more to say haha.

OPP never use radar on the 400 series highways.
You're an idiot if you think you know how radar works because you wrote some stupid article. When and where is your trial being held. I need a good laugh.

IT wasn't a OPP that stopped me. It was just a regular cop car. I was going as fast as other people and because my car were bigger they stopped me because maybe they got me on laser or radar. How can u tell if it was radar or laser? He showed me the thing he pulled me over doing 150km/h. It is a black gun which is thin and there were no pic or anything. Just a gun that says your speed limit. Does this really work or worth giving a try?
I'm 99% sure it was 1 of these.

Because he showed it to me when he got off the car. How can u tell if it's laser or radar? What major diff ?
So if it's radar i can probably fight for it rite? Laser i'm ****ed rite?

If you were in traffic and they used radar on a 400 series highway then you could make a decent argument to the judge. The radar gun simply returns the highest detected speed to the officer so if there were 3 lanes of traffic moving each way, it's possible that he didn't actually clock you. That being said, he's done this before so he's probably better than you at making his case in court. Go get the second one reduced to 15 over with a first attendance or hope the cop doesn't show up.

Yes i'm planning to prove guilty within 15 limit and under,so $50 and no pts taken off rite? If not then i fight the hell out of it. I have nothing to lose anyways after rite? Someone told me that if i fight for it and i'm guilty of the 15 limit and under i won't lose any pts rite? Let me know if that's the truth.
I like the way u said it. kane2k
Some people here are just ignorance. Saying u are stupid and stuff and u were speeding and stuff. Everyone in this world speeds. Is just a matter of time of getting caught. But getting caught twice a day within 3 hours was bs.

I didn't think so.
You deserved it. Learn your lesson, and don't speed next time. Plain and simple.

I'd want to eat more ****, cause I'm better than everyone else.
winner, seriously though, is this a real post? Your arguments are the stupidest ones I have ever heard when it comes to being pulled over.
You can hire a paralegal, an ex-cop to go to court.. the good thing about this... is you won't have to go.. and you won't tell anyone your amazing arguments.... trust me, that's a good thing in this case.
X-coppers and whatnot are too expensive.. go with someone less well known... all these monkeys usually do when you are guilty is talk to the prosecutor and cut you a deal (which most people can do on their own)... and sometimes they will have connections inside the force... where you will be found not-guilty because $500 later, the officer will not show up.

Well u people don't understand. I know i deserve the 1st ticket. The 2nd ticket i wasn't even going fast. I was parallel with the other car and i brake already when i'm coming down and he still said i was speeding. He didn't said he had radar on me or anything. Most of the cops tell me that i got u at whatever speed on radar. U people will know how it feels when it comes to any of u getting 2 tickets a day. I fight for it myself. I stand up in the court myself and fight for it. If i lose i lose like i deserve it. If i win then i'm lucky. I have nothing to lose.

ALWAYS ask to see the radar unless the cop gives you a very generous ticket.
'flow of traffic' is not an acceptable reason.. regardless of it making sense or not. If everyone is going at 140km/hour (and it does happen every so often), you going 100 is a danger... but none the less... big brother still has a right to give you a ticket.
a proper analogy to maybe make you feel better...... "when you go finishing, you don't expect to catch every fish in the ocean."
