Packing ticket with my permit!?

Hey guys! Ok so... i got a ticket yesterday morning when i left to work, for parking in a reserved area in on my street... But then again, that place is reserved for me! I got my section permit 2 weeks ago...

Can i deduct and say these guy didnt even look for a permit and just decided to stick it to me?

Anyways, whats the process to take this piece of paper to court? Just moved to toronto a couple of months ago and still dont know what to do!

Thanks!

this is the wrong section of the forums to place this in...anyways just take the paper in and show the proof that you are allowed to park in that spot...but i'm from Windsor, i dont' really know where you have to go to Toronto, but dont' worry about it, it'll clear

read option 3 on the back of the ticket and set a trial date. but if its only 30$ even tho u didnt deserve it it might be easier to just pay it

don't listen to him....you never pay your ticket always go to court

oh ya...it's a parking ticket you dont' need to go to court for that bud
it's not going to be on his record even if he pays it or not, has nothing to do with a regular ticket

bring it to the closest parking authority office along w/ your parking permit and fight it. Most likely they will drop it right there.

thats what i did when i got a ticket downtown but i was parked in a spot. took it down to metro hall (closest one to me) and they dropped it right there cuz they said there was a mistake on it.

i guess they just wanna hit quota

so i guess all those times i was subpoenaed must have been an illusion and all those times i testified was a figment of my imagination......lets look at it in terms of finance. you take a day off work= money lost, you drive to the court house = money spent. you pay for parking= money spent. you spend you time i court all for the chance you might win and not have to pay a 30$ ticket. but what do i know, not like i write them for a living try going in with your permit and ticket and see if they will drop it there. you will most likely loose in court, because the officer will say well it wasnt there when i gave the ticket an if it was it wasnt in a conspicuous place. also you can only set a court date in person so thats another tripwasteing gas and cash for parking

I dont mind loosing a days work or gas or whatnot, its a question of morality and principles... I paid my fees to be able to park there, and ive ben parking there for the past 3 weeks and not a single ticket... And trust me, come park on my street and leave ur car 5 minutes, and i promise you when u come back u have a ticket, its as if they have spycams or something and know exactly when u dont have a permit...

And you know what, its probly because of you that i got that ticket, people like you who dont give a flying **** about things going on while we get nicely bent over by governement or in this case the popos, and just pay eveything thats shot at them... So theyll keep giving free tickets like this aslong as theres people like you paying eveything without questioning...

So i blame YOU for my ticket, and every other person who dont give...

if blameing me makes you feel better than so be it. but unless the employee number at the bottom is 78611 it wasnt me. maybe you were given the ticket by mistake. have you ever made a mistake? i know i have. i've accidentally given tickets to police cars. or it could have been on purpose by an angry governement employee who has a hard on for civics. i apologize for trying to help you see your options
