I have heard about the recent bylaw that does not allow private property owners to issue tickets, much less enforce them.

does anyone have any more info on this? ive searched, to no luck.

i work for Toronto Parking Authority, and we get complaints from ppl that got tagged by IMPARK on there lots.
basically, (from my understanding) impark is copying our policy where we tag ur car if u park beyond closing. but we take ur plate number and give an envelope for u to send the money. if not we send repremands in the mail b'cos we are government-
THEY are not, so if they tag ur car, dun even bother with em, its jus a cash grab.

 

university of windsor has its own police that patrol their lots and give tickets and since they arent "real" police you dont have to pay them...I must have racked up good 100 over the past 3 years and I havent paid 1 and there is nothin they can do about it

Appearently at Sheridan they will tow ur cars at a moments notice....if they find out ur parking illegally in anyway. .

 

I got a ticket for parking in my friends driveway at a house beside finch station. The ticket was for parking at the wrong times.

Does this sound wierd to anyone else?
